Rehoboth Historical Cemetery Number 32

The Judge Haile Lot was situated on Wood Street halfway between Providence & Brook Streets. The only stone transcribed as being in the lot is for Hannah. Hannah & Richard Haile were the great grandparents of Judge Levi Haile.

Judge Levi Haile was Judge of the Rhode Island Superior Court between the years of  1835 and 1854. The Judge lived on a farm in Swanzey (now Warren, RI). He was an Associate Judge in the treason case of Governor Thomas Wilson Dorr. It is unknown if Judge Haile is actually buried in this Lot.
