Rehoboth Historical Cemetery Number 25

The Nathan Pierce Cemetery is located directly on Purchase Street . It is easily accessible and no longer hidden from view as described by Robert Sheldon Trim. The image above was photographed on May 3, 2008.

Describing it's location is a bit confusing since Purchase Street is centered on the boundary between Dighton/Swansea and Rehoboth. A nearby town line marker could easily make one feel they were in Swansea when viewing the cemetery. The East side of the Street is in Swansea while the West side of the street is in Rehoboth. Walk a few feet North on Purchase Street and one would be in Dighton.

The following individuals are interred there.  There are roughly a dozen field stone markers with no inscriptions.  This may not be a complete list.
